Speaker Biography
Dr Simon Littlewood is a consultant orthodontist in the national health service in Bradford, runs a small private clinic, and is Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Leeds, UK. He is Honorary Secretary of the British Orthodontic Society and He is currently co-Course Director of the Yorkshire Orthodontic Therapy Course and has previously been Chair of the British Orthodontic Conference, Secretary of the British Orthodontic Society, and Chair of Examiners for the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr Littlewood is co-author of the 5th edition of the best-selling textbook “An Introduction to Orthodontics” as well as writing over 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and appearing in educational videos. As an entertaining and highly sought-after speaker, he has been invited to lecture to orthodontic audiences in over 35 countries, particularly on the topic of orthodontic retention, and is well known for being an entertaining lecturer capable of translating high quality research into clinically relevant and practical information for clinical audiences.
