Course details

Interdisciplinary treatment is an extraordinary opportunity for the future of Orthodontics, Restorative dentistry and Surgery.

We are dealing with patients of any age and increasing Esthetic requests. They want to partecipate in designing their elective treatment, choosing among different options that can include a comprehensive approach to their smile and face.

Digital planning can help the interdisciplinary team to customise their treatment first visualising the the dental position needed for a stable occlusion and then the needed space for the best and least invasive restorative treatment.

Face driven surgery can answer the legitimate expectations of our patients whose desire is not just to normalise the occlusion but to achieve a natural and attractive appearance improving their OHRQOL. The combination of Ortho Facial surgery and Restorative dentistry can give new answers to the legitimate requests of our patients pushing the borders of our specialties.

Learning Objectives:

1) How to use Ortho driven and Prostho driven set ups for interdisciplinary planning

2) How Minimal invasive restorative dentistry allows the transition from adolescence to young adulthood

3) Why Orthofacial surgery and dentistry are elective and not elite treatment to answer the legitimate requests of our patients.
