Join us for the unforgettable Opening Ceremony of the 101st EOS Annual Congress, where Congress President, Dr Finn Geoghegan, will welcome delegates in the Auditorium at 18:30.
Following the Ceremony, the official opening of the trade exhibition will take place.
The evening will continue with the President’s Reception in the Exhibition Hall, to connect with international colleagues while enjoying food, drinks and entertainment.

Irish Dinner

Step into the heart of Irish craftsmanship at the Teeling Distillery’s Irish Dinner Evening. Begin your night with an exclusive tour of the distillery, culminating in a whiskey tasting that brings to life the bold flavours and stories behind Dublin’s finest spirit. Afterwards, enjoy a seasonal Irish dinner accompanied by live traditional music. Coach transfers back will be provided back to the congress hotels, ensuring a relaxed and seamless evening celebrating flavour, culture, and the spirited soul of Dublin.

How to get there:
Take bus 151 from the Congress venue (Convention Centre, stop 7398) in the direction of Foxborough. Get off at St. Luke’s Avenue (stop 2171), which is the 11th stop. From there, it is a 4 minute walk (approximately 300 metres) to Teeling Whiskey Distillery, located on Newmarket Square.
You can easily catch a taxi outside your hotel or the Congress Centre for the short 3 km ride to Teeling Distillery, which typically takes 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Opium Live takes inspiration from the colour and vibrancy of Tokyo and classic manga novels and has featured some of Dublin’s best DJs and international talent.

How to get there by bus: Take line G1 or G2 from the Congress venue (Convention Centre, stop 7398) to Burgh Quay (4th stop). Then it is a 2-minute walk (200 meters) to D’Olier Street where you catch bus 9 to Dublin City South, Redmond’s Hill (4th stop) your destination is then a 3 minute walk (200 m). Route Map.
