Registration opens in autumn 2026.  EOS members can register at discounted fees.

You can apply to become an EOS member here. Benefits include free access to the European Journal of Orthodontics, unlimited access to the Resource Library, discounted fees for the Annual Congress and webinars, and eligibility for research grants and awards.

A selection of hotel rooms of various types and categories will be available for delegates attending EOS 2027.

Austria is part of the Schengen Area. Most nationalities including EU/EEA countries, the UK, North America, Australia, New Zealand and several countries in Asia do not require a visa for short visits of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Please verify your specific requirements in advance here.

Participants can request a visa invitation letter during the registration process. Please note that the visa invitation letter does not exempt attendees from complying with all requirements regarding registration and payment for their participation, accommodation and travel.

The Congress will take place at Congress Innsbruck, located in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the historic Old Town, restaurants, hotels and many of Innsbruck’s main attractions.

Innsbruck is compact and easy to explore. Many hotels, restaurants, cafés, shops and cultural sights are within walking distance of Congress Innsbruck.

The city also has a reliable public transport network, including buses and trams operated by IVB and regional services operated by VVT.

Delegates staying in Innsbruck for at least two nights may be eligible to receive the Innsbruck Welcome Card from participating accommodation providers. The card includes free use of public transport in the Innsbruck region and other visitor benefits.

A name badge will be provided when you arrive at the congress venue.

Delegates will be asked to scan the QR code sent to them before the Congress, after which their badge will be printed on site.

Name badges must be always worn and clearly visible during the Congress and at official networking events.

Certificates of attendance and Continuing Professional Development points will be provided to eligible participants after completion of the online evaluation survey.

The final number of CPD hours for the main congress days, postgraduate courses and pre-congress courses will be confirmed closer to the Congress.

Tickets for networking events can be purchased during the registration process, subject to availability.

Delegates can purchase a ticket for ONE accompanying person, subject to availability.

The ticket for an accompanying person allows access to the Opening Ceremony and Reception on 14 June. Guests are also welcome into the exhibition area during the congress, including lunch.

Children under 16 years of age may attend free of charge without needing a separate registration.

Please note that a crèche service is not available. Children must be always accompanied by an adult and cannot access the scientific sessions.

The official language in Austria is German. English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, shops and tourist areas, especially in Innsbruck’s city centre.

The official language of the Congress will be English. There will be no simultaneous translation into other languages. Transcriptions in 150+ languages will be available on the Congress app for all scientific sessions.

Innsbruck is in the Central European Time Zone.

During the Congress in June, Austria observes Central European Summer Time, which is UTC+2.

June is a beautiful time to visit Innsbruck, with long daylight hours, green alpine scenery and pleasant summer temperatures.

Typical daytime temperatures are around 22–25°C, with evening and early-morning temperatures usually around 10–14°C.

As Innsbruck is an alpine city, the weather can be changeable, and June may bring short rain showers or thunderstorms. Delegates are advised to pack layers, comfortable shoes and a light waterproof jacket.

The currency in Austria is the Euro (€).

Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shops and taxis, although it is useful to carry a small amount of cash for smaller purchases, cafés or local markets.

Austria uses Type C and Type F plugs, with a standard voltage of 230 V and frequency of 50 Hz.

Delegates travelling from outside continental Europe may need to bring a suitable travel adaptor.

Tipping is customary in Austria but not obligatory. In restaurants and cafés, it is common to round up the bill or leave around 5–10% for good service.
