Travel Information
By Air

Dublin Airport (DUB) is Ireland’s busiest airport, located approximately 12 km north of the city centre. It handles major international flights and is well connected to the U.S., Europe, the UK, and beyond. For more information click here.
How to get to the city centre
- Airport Express Bus (Airlink 747/757): direct service from the airport to central Dublin. For more information click here.
- Dublin Bus: routes 16, 41, 102 connect the airport to the city; the journey time is approximately 30–45 minutes depending on traffic.
– Taxi: available outside Arrivals; the typical fare to the city centre is €25–€35. For more information click here.
By Train / Tram

Dublin has several rail options:
- Luas tram: two lines — Red (southeast–west) and Green (north–south). The Green Line serves the Convention Centre via the “Convention Centre” stop.
- InterCity trains arrive at Heuston Station and Connolly Station—both accessible by taxi, bus, or Luas.
By Car

If you are driving, the Convention Centre is near the East Link Toll Bridge (M50). On-site and nearby parking options are limited—city centre garages are advisable. Use GPS postcode D01 T9P6.
Getting around Dublin

- Dublin Bus offers city-wide routes; check TFI (Transport for Ireland) for schedules and journey planning.
- Luas tram: Red and Green lines intersect at St Stephen’s Green – ideal for cross-town travel. The Green Line serves the Convention Centre via the “Convention Centre” stop.
- DART: excellent for coastal suburbs and nearby cities (e.g. Bray, Howth).
- Bicycles: Dublin is a compact and walkable city. Bike rental schemes like Dublinbikes have docking stations widely available, including near the venue.
- Taxis and ride‑hailing: black taxis and apps like Free Now are widely available.
Public transport passes

We recommend LEAP cards, valid on Dublin Bus, Luas, DART, and commuter rail. You can purchase and top up LEAP cards at:
– Dublin Airport
– 7-Elevens
– Luas tram stops
– Selected train stations
Day tickets and multi-day passes are available and more cost-effective than single fares.
