Title
Treatment of CMD, Habits, ASOS & Malocclusion
Abstract
Clear aligners are effective in promoting dental alignment but have clinical limitations in treating difficult cases of dysfunctions such as CMD, Habits, SAS and Malocclusion.
The efficacy of clear aligners has recently been improved by new biomechanics, materials, combination with fixed appliances/TAD's (hybrid orthodontics) and innovative aligner modifications such as SARA-Splint, Hemi-Splints, Tongue Schield and Torque Points.
Aims and objectives
This lecture aims to discuss a new treatment concept to improve the functional outcome of clear aligners while saving treatment time, supported by clinical cases and scientific evidence.
